Funding for care at home

If you are paying for your own care:

  • You can contact us directly
  • We will carry out a free assessment
  • You will have a clear idea about your care needs and the cost of it.

For example, you will know whether you need a care worker to come 2 hours a day or 2 hours a week, depending on what you need. Our care manager will show you the cost of our services so that you know exactly what you are paying for.

At Kosh Care, we recognise that care costs can be expensive, especially if you have a long-term illness or age-related difficulties, which is why we keep our rates the same for the first year.

Payment support from your local authority

Another way to pay for care at home is to find out if you are entitled to social care funding. If you have been assessed and found to be eligible for social services, you will receive a personal budget.

You may receive it as:

  • Direct Payments
  • Individual Service Fund (ISF)
With Direct Payments:
  • You retain control of your own care and support services.
  • You have more choices in selecting the services that meet your specific needs.
  • You are involved in every step of the process, and the confidence to make the choices that suit you.
With Individual Social Service:
  • For those you can’t manage a Personal Budget.
  • You can select a service provider (such as Kosh Care) to manage the funds for you.
  • These funds are provided with a contract in place between the service provider and local authority.
  • You are still in control of how these funds are spent.

Contact us and we will get started on your care package.
